Couchman Hanson is making waves on National Radio Day!

On 20th August 2023 we will be celebrating National Radio Day!

Not too many solicitors will be marking National Radio Day, but we have a special reason to celebrate - as the former Managing Director of Eagle Radio, Paul Marcus - is now part of the Couchman Hanson team.

Paul led Eagle Radio to extraordinary success for over fifteen years, building the market leading commercial radio station in Surrey & Hampshire. The much-loved station was responsible for many popular community campaigns including their Christmas Toy Appeal and Local Heroes Awards.

These days, alongside his work supporting local charities, Paul can often be found behind the desk at one of the three local Couchman Hanson offices – in Camberley, Crowthorne and Haslemere, in his role as Non Exec Director.

Paul explains, “I have a long-standing friendship with Daniel (Couchman) and as his business grows, he is determined to retain its unique set of company values and identity. It’s a perfect fit to be helping the team and of course- now and then, I still get to tell a few stories of those special, radio days”.

Company Founder, Daniel Couchman, who first met Paul through their shared devotion to Aldershot Town Football Club, still has broadcasting plans for Paul.

Daniel said, “Having Paul as part of our team has been really helpful and also lots of fun. We have been able to explore many more creative marketing ideas to help build our relationships in the local community”.

 One of these initiatives is to launch a new podcast series in 2024, combining support for local community initiatives alongside access to practical advice on everyday legal matters.  No prizes for guessing who the podcast executive producer will be?
